Gas Safety Week is a national safety campaign run by Gas Safe Register to raise awareness of gas safety in the UK.

 

Gas Safety Week , which started in 2010, sees organisations from across the UK working together to raise awareness of the dangers of poorly maintained gas appliances, which can cause gas leaks, fires, explosions and carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning.   

 

​The key message for the week using social media tags will be to encourage consumers to get their gas appliances checked and serviced every year by a qualified Gas Safe registered engineer.
